My Style: Leather Goods

My Style : Leather Goods

It was so pretty and sunny the other day I found an alleyway with not too much snow, it was perfect leather jacket weather.

I love this leather basket weaved bag so much, I thrifted it for so cheap last Summer, it reminds me so much of the warm months coming very soon.

I hope you all had a lovely week, I am trying to  keep my thoughts positive, my step mom just found out two days ago that she has bone marrow cancer, I am kind of short for words about the whole situation but I need to stay strong for her and my dad right now. Any body got some words of wisdom out there?

Wearing:
-Vintage leather jacket, vintage shop in Brooklyn New York
-Scarf, gift from a friend
-Necklace from Beacon's Closet (similar)
-Sugarlips apparel dress
-Vintage leather basket purse,thrifted
-Vintage leather boots from a clothing swap

Gorgeous outfit.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being emotional. Sometimes being "strong" or "unemotional" can be very ineffective and cause more problems in the end. Feel what you feel. You can still be there for your step-mom and your dad. It will be a trying time but please remember to take care of yourself. You won't be much good to your step-mom or your dad if you're in bad shape.

Your leather jacket is perfect and so cute with your chevron print dress.
I'm sorry to hear about the bad news. I hope things look up soon and that there's a positive prognosis. Sending good vibes your way!

My mom is an ovarian cancer survivor. It's not an easy thing to go through, but I think the most important thing you can do is try to stay positive for your aunt and not focus on things like death. The mind can be a powerful healing tool!

That aside, the light in these photos is AMAZING. So, perfectly pretty!
