Daily Outfit : Black Lace Shift

Yesterday evening I finally got my act together and set up my lighting in my tiny studio, I will have to shoot indoors for the next few months since I don't want to take a chance in breaking my camera outside since the temps are so low. I think this backdrop is perfect for the time being. We got hit with a historic snow storm earlier this week 45+ cm of snow yikes!! Real pretty but overwhelming. The streets have been pretty much paralyzed and so have the alley ways so picture taking in the great outdoors is a no go for the time being.

Lately I have been really into darker garments like this simple black lace shift dress with shiny peter pan collar, now that my hair is not jet black I can get away with darker clothing without looking too Gothic. I am all about these platform shoes I got last year at UO, they did not get to much wear this year, but I plan on wearing them with flared jeans in the Spring.

Stéphane and I are getting ready for tomorrow, NYE, we are going to have a fun evening of all you can eat sushi and cocktails with some close friends, I need to go hem my dress now!
