Yesterday I met up with my stylish mom to check out la grande braderie de mode Québécoise, but when we got there there was a massive line up that would have taken hours for us to get in and grab a deal on some designer goods from Birds of north America so we decided to goof off and snap as many pictures as we could in beautiful old Montreal instead. I forgot how beautiful it looks this time of year. My favorite monument is the "Jean Drapeau" statue, I love his pose and his glasses, don't you? Jean Drapeau was a very important man in the history of Montreal, he is the man behind the lovely metro and of course the famous Expo 67.

Down the stairs was where I had my wedding pictures taken and it was in the 1920's a farmers market and in the 1800's it was a place for military parades.
