A few weeks ago while checking my inbox I came across this lovely message from a Crowned Bird pr person and they told me I would love this new designer by the name of Priscilla Barroso. Her debut line is called Crowned Bird, the inspiration behind this first collection is brilliant colors, whimsical silhouettes, kookie animal prints and ubiquitous collars. All these things combined make me very happy and attract me right away!
I love this collection because she was not afraid to use color and plays with it in a fun and chic way with fun collars and proportion. These pieces can be translated into everyday looks if you take away the crazy hair ,whimsical lashes and insane shoes that seem hard to walk in. My favorite piece is the fish print pencil skirt, I love the styling with the simple polka dot blouse and plaid jacket, I would not wear the blogger boots, I would replace them with some comfy penny loafers and neutral colored knee socks. I love the trout print skirt, i'd pair it with a cute cable knit jumper, knee socks and some cute open toe sandals.
Nice! I have that fish print fabric! I decided not to use it, but it works so well with this designer's collection.
