Today is kind of a gloomy day, I was lucky enough to be selected twice for jury selection, hopefully they will see that I am a very anxious person when it comes to dealing with traumatic situations. First time they sent me the dreaded letter I was a full time student, but no longer I am. Time to be an adult all of a sudden, usually I do not mind but I am not a huge fan of waiting in a government building for a day long waiting till they call my number. I am going there armed with my Loretta Lynn biography and some tunes.
The funniest part of this whole situation is that next week I go back to the court house to get hitched, my life is so weird sometimes. I took these pictures very quickly yesterday afternoon right before the rain, this is one of my simple looks, I thrifted this plaid blouse last week and fell in love with the ruffles and the peter pan collar, I paired it with my favorite jeans and some vintage accents.

I was invited for jury service recently, but thanksfully i wasn't picked. So that's me off the hook for a few years. Dave had to do it recently as well, but the case was thrown out after a day and a half becuase the key witness changed their testimony.

Love this look! Those jeans look amazing on you. I got called for jury duty as a student too, and I just know they'll get me again soon. I got out of it then since there was no way I could miss that much class, but I would have to do it now! I guess that's what books are for :) I'll have to check out Loretta Lynn's bio. She's always fascinated me.

This is a really cute outfit! I love it. Not as colorful as I'm used to seeing you wear!!! That is terrible that you had to be selected twice for jury duty. My husband did it last year for about 4 days and he had a fever. Congratulations on your marriage coming! at least that is a nice reason to go to court.
