Christmas Eve is here!

It sure is! It's nice and milder in Montreal, I was able to venture out in the back of my appartement to take outdoor pics!

I don't have much to say on this Christmas eve,I plan to take it really easy, gonna make more pet de soeur and go to St-Hubert BBQ for dinner later with St├ęphane. We like it simple like that. We may pop by our local church to see the inside and maybe check out the mass.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Cold Cold Weather and a Handmade coat

This coat is the result of my sewing class this semester. It was the last project. I baught the purple Wool on St-Hubert for a cheap 7$ a meter and the black Kasha linning for 5$ a meter. In total this coat coast 35$ to make. I chose to do a huge oversize collar for added warmth and style, it's perfect with my huge pinpals pin :)

I am pretty happy with the end product, it was alot of hard work and freak outs on the sewing machine, especially when came the time to do the sleeves and linning but it all came together neatly in the end :)

I hope you enjoy these shots of it in the very cold temperatures we are experiencing over here in Montreal, burrrrrr!

It's almost break time again!

It's been way to long since my last post! So so sorry!
I am so happy I have one week of exams left till I am free for a month or so. This semester has been the hardest so far. The stuff I have been doing has been way more interesting. I have been pushing myself so much more.

Here is my latest drawing project, a collection of 5 pieces inspired by the satellite SMOS....

I also finished my coat in sewing class I will take some pics of me and it in the snow this weekend :)

I promise to have so much more interesting posts over the holiday and I will be adding some pretty vintage items in my etsy shop!

Stay tuned!
